A team of international researchers has officially confirmed the existence of a massive underground cave network stretching across three continents. The system, dubbed "Terra Profunda," was first detected through satellite gravitational anomaly readings in 2021.
The caves contain unique ecosystems, including organisms that have never been seen above ground. Some chambers feature lakes of completely still water isolated from the surface for an estimated 50,000 years.
Governments of all three affected nations have declared the system a protected zone pending further scientific study. No public access will be permitted until 2027 at the earliest.

Larger than France? How has this been hidden for so long?
Imagine being the first explorer drone to go in there. Wild.
Terra Profunda sounds like a Bond villain's lair and I'm here for it.
The planet never stops surprising us. What an incredible discovery.
